Program Support

Each JROTC unit is allocated funds to provide supplies and contractual services. The Army agency designated to support JROTC is located at Fort Polk, Louisiana.

Funding support items include

• Instructor pay
• Cadet uniforms and equipment
• Curriculum supplies/CD & DVD WEB Based System
• Automation/Technology
• Laundry contracts
• Professional development/conferences, etc.
• Summer camps and field trips

A JROTC Affiliation Program (College – High School Link) has been established with Senior ROTC Departments at Louisiana State University and Southern University to

• Expose JROTC students to Senior ROTC cadets
• Better prepare college bound students
• Provide assistance with college financing and career planning
• Campus tours
• Visitation and guest speaker program to high schools
