Alternative Programs

Special Circumstances and Exceptional Population

The district embraces a model of inclusiveness for the exceptional student population. However, families may

seek out other placement options outside of the traditional setting for students with exceptional needs or other

special circumstances. Programming targeting the exceptional population will employ a data driven approach to

support students with achieving their individual goals outlined in their individualized education plans,

Individualized academic plan, Act 833 Pathway goals, and/or student success plans. Average time enrolled: full academic year
