Woodlawn High School Hosts Dow Red Stick Rumble Robotics Competition

The Dow Red Stick Rumble, a competition for 22 teams — around 400 students from Louisiana, Mississippi and Texas — showcased student-built and operated robots navigating an arena of obstacles and throwing gray dodge balls at castle towers they were bent on destroying. The event doubled as a flood relief effort, with dozens of the competitors bringing donations to support fellow students throughout the state.
