WHAM hosted Block Kids Building Competition sponsored by NAWIC

Feb. 4 2020

WHAM recently hosted the Block Kids Building Competition sponsored by the local chapter of the National Association of Women in the Construction Industry (NAWIC).  Thirty 1st through 5th grade students participated in this national program that introduces children to the construction industry.   In an effort to create awareness and promote careers in the industry, each of the students utilized up to 100 Lego blocks and up to three additional items to construct a project related to the construction industry.  All of the students did a phenomenal job! Congratulations to Rowen B. (1st place), Jewel J. (2nd place), and Harmony G. (3rd place).
