Westdale Middle School Principal Jeremy Couvillion is the reigning King of the Krewe of Orion and donned his full King’s costume for bus dismissal on Thursday, February 9, 2017, to get students in the Mardi Gras spirit. The Krewe of Orion’s 17th annual Mardi Gras parade will roll in downtown Baton Rouge on Saturday, February 11, 2017, at 6:30 p.m. The parade theme for 2017 is “It’s Good to be the King”.
