Welcome to We Are HR, the East Baton Rouge School System Human Resources newsletter. While addressing the many new and exciting events occurring within the department, it is our hope that you will find the invigorated commitment of the Human Resources Department that is dedicated to serving you. Recent and archived issues will be available on the HR website.
Have you ever wondered why we work in Human Resources with so many employees needing different types of assistance and support? Wow!! The answer is easy. It’s the students. We are not here for us, we are here for our students and employees. As we move forward with our newsletters, we will include pertinent information that our employees need to know. My word for our employees is to challenge yourself to think, lead, and support your dynamic team and expect powerful outcomes from your specific group as you develop your group dynamics.
Millie Williams
Chief Officer of Human Resources
East Baton Rouge Parish School System
Each day choose…to live by choice, not chance. To make changes, not excuses. To be motivated, not manipulated. To be useful, not used. To excel, not compete. Choose self-Esteem, over self-pity. Choose to listen to your inner voice;
Not the random opinions of others. Each choice you make defines your future. Choose to be Happy.
