U.S. Secretary of Education to Visit University Terrace Elementary

BATON ROUGE, La. – U.S. Secretary of Education John B. King Jr. and senior Department of Education officials will conclude the “Opportunity Across America,” the back-to-school bus tour in Louisiana Friday as they celebrate progress in communities and states across the country. The tour kicked off in the nation’s capital on Monday.  Secretary King will visit University Terrace Elementary School to talk with students and educators impacted by the massive flooding in Louisiana. He also will help distribute needed school supplies to both students and faculty
