The Dufrocq School will host an inauguration ceremony

Baton Rouge, LA – Students at The Dufrocq School will host an inauguration ceremony and ball for the Crawfish Bayou MicroSociety program’s newly elected officers on Thursday, October 27. The Dufrocq School is the only school in the state to participate in a MicroSociety program of this kind. The program establishes a student-run community within the school. Electing leaders to hold various offices including president, vice president, secretary and treasurer.

The students vote as the culmination of a lively campaign season, and the newly elected officers will be joined by guest politicians, community partners, district administration and their families.

The inauguration will begin at 2 p.
