Ten students from Glasgow Middle qualified to participate in the Regional History Bee, which hosted schools from all over Louisiana and Mississippi. Students were divided by grade level and participated in multiple rounds that inclided questions from subjects such as geography, world history, and United States history.
The winners from Glasgow Middle that qualified to participate in the National History Bee are as follows: Jonathan Ding- elementary division, Jay Iyer, Anthony Bailey, and Krishna Pochana.
The following students qualified for nationals and placed top 8 in the region: Zayeed Akhter, Khanh Pham, and Rahul Ramaraju.
