The East Baton Rouge Parish School System will partner with The East Baton Rouge Sheriff’s Office to distribute busloads of donated school supplies on Saturday, August 4th in three different events across the parish.
Through WBRZ’s 11th annual Stuff the Bus event and the generosity of Baton Rouge residents, hundreds of students across the parish will have access to new school supplies for the 2018-2019 school year.
“The East Baton Rouge Parish School System would like to sincerely thank the people of this community for donating and supporting students,” said EBR Schools Superintendent Warren Drake. “When children have everything they need for the first day of school it helps them feel prepared and excited for the year ahead.”
All of the supplies collected through the Stuff the Bus event held on July 18, 2018 have been donated to EBRSO to distribute at designated events held on August 4.
