Congratulations to Cadet First Sergeant Treyvon Turner of Northeast High School, winner of the LET II JROTC Cadet of the Year Board. He is an exemplary student maintaining a 3.9 GPA, ranked 4th in his class of 99. Cadet Turner is a member of the Viking Scholars and Beta Club; Commander of the Unarmed Drill team and a member of the Color Guard. Upon graduation Cadet Turner plans to attend LSU and major in biology. Cadet Turner is an exemplary student, a role model cadet for other students and cadets to emulate.
Congratulations to all the cadets that participated, taking the time and effort to prepare for this challenging event. The categories of this competition are curriculum knowledge, appearance, military bearing, as well as the cadets overall academic achievements. Our cadets continue to do a marvelous job representing the caliber of programs we have here in East Baton Rouge demonstrating the pride and dignity during the spirit of competition.
Thanks to the instructors and cadets of Northeast High School for hosting this event, as well as the instructors who participated as Board Members.
