Glasgow Middle Competes in Region VII Science Fair

Glasgow Middle was named Top Middle School in the state at the 2016 Louisiana Science and Engineering Fair – LSEF held March 22, 2016.   A total of 15 students from the school participated with top honors of overall first and second place being earned by Abhirami Jeyaseelan and Jay Iyer respectively.   Jeyaseelan and Iyer were also recognized with Naval Science Awards. Several students earned honors in individual categories including four first and four second place awards. A total of 11 students will advance to Broadcom Masters. Broadcom Masters (Math, Applied Science, Technology and Engineering Rising Stars), is the premier science and engineering competition for middle school students.
