The East Baton Rouge Parish School System will begin celebrating National Hispanic Heritage Month with a district-wide coloring contest. Students are encouraged to download free coloring sheets from our website beginning Wednesday, September 15th and sharing their finished artwork by posting them on Facebook, Instagram or Twitter and using the hashtag #EBRcontest. Principals from each school will also be provided with copies of the sheets to provide to school locations for students to access. Submissions will be posted on the district’s official social media platforms. A winner will be selected from each platform based on which photo has the most likes respectively. The deadline for submissions are 11:59 PM CST, Friday, October, 15, 2021, the last day of the recognized month-long celebration that acknowledges the influence and contributions of Hispanic Americans.
Winners of the contest will be announced on official EBRPSS social media accounts Monday, October 18th and will receive new official EBR apparel and other kid-friendly items!
