  • Recognition of Marybeth Burns, Pre-K Teacher at Shenandoah Elementary School, for being selected as the LACUE Region II Early Childhood Teacher and winner of the Early Childhood Teacher of the Year for the State of Louisiana. 
  • Recognition of Volunteers in Public Schools (VIPS) Partners in Education for the month of January. 
  • Recognition of Pat Shingleton (WBRZ) and community members for their outstanding efforts on behalf of “Pat’s Coats for Kids.”
