Cedarcrest-Southmoor Elementary Celebrates Dr. Seuss’s Birthday

Mar. 9 2016

Cedarcrest-Southmoor Elementary and schools around the district celebrate Dr. Seuss’s birthday by cooking green eggs and ham and reading to children. March 2 has been designated Read Across America Day to honor the many influential accomplishments of Dr. Suess. Teachers have utilized this day to give students a fun reading and learning experience. Dr. Seuss would have been 112 years old today. Although he is not here with us, his legacy still lives on today through his inspirational quotes and continuing to help children learn to read with his books.
