15 Seniors Recognized as National Merit Scholars

Nov. 18 2016

We are proud to announce that 15 of our high school students have been recognized as National Merit Scholars this year! These students qualified based on their performance on the Preliminary SAT/National Merit Scholarship Qualifying Test (PSAT/NMSQT) taken in their junior year!

These students include Baton Rouge Magnet High school students Chi Cao, Kayla David, Jack Dean, Mason Guillot, Arthi Nandakumar, Marie Neubrander, Grace Odenwald, Cole Roland (Cambridge University), Alejandro Rubiano, Kadi Runnels, Lee St. Pierre, Genta Teruyama and Cindy Zhuang; and Woodlawn High students Autumn Hopper and Hayden Schneider.

About only 20 percent of high school students take the SAT. These students are among a small group of EBRPSS seniors who have achieved this accomplishment.
